Howdy,
I posted this on the Chris Reeve forum but only got one answer. Does anyone here have and actually use a Chris Reeve Green Beret? I'm looking at the 5.5 inch non-serrated variety for general camp use, occasional belt carry, etc. Whittling, general cutting, carving, batoning, etc. Fairly heavy use but not abuse. I like Harsey's handle designs but the low hardness of the S35VN (55-57 according the the maker) seems a little on the soft side.
So, I'd appreciate some insight from those who actually have and use the Green Beret or even the Pacific for general camping, hunting, bushcrafty survival type stuff.
Many thanks
