Have you tried Sharp edge sharp shooter in Sandton City?

Note - I live in Canada now and have not been there in 3 yrs so my suggestion could be totally useless.

I struggled to get my first sebbie when I was living in SA. I eventually ordered one from the States and have them ship it to me in JHB.
There is/was a collector in Pta. that sold a few of his sebs. on BF about 3 years ago. Do a search you may find his name/email.

Shaper Edge is the only decent shop to get knves,but have never stocked sebenzas , too expensive for the SA market.

Ordering from the States is a pretty straight forward process, I did it for several years before moving to closer to the States.

If anyone has an ear to the ground about our knives in South Africa, it is Bertie Rietveld. rietveld@netdial.co.za I doubt that he has any but he may know who does. For a while, Roger Stockbridge carried our knives mrs@lantic.net but I don't know whether he is even in business still. If you have no luck, you are more than welcome to contact us direct - we are very familiar with dealing with countries all over the world, not least of which would be South Africa!

Thanks guys for all your input. I have to agree that the Sharp Edge Sharp Shooter is the only decent place to get knives. I buy mine only there. I visit them regularly and was in there yesterday only. They are not more expensive than "Die Blou Meul" in Alberton. In fact, the Meul is more expensive on certain knives and their premises is much cheaper than Sandton City!!!
