This is devoted to What We Would Like To See CRK Come Out With Next ??? This is for New Knives Only, Fixed or Folders. Nothing that was made by them before.

I would like to see CRK come out with a:

Flipper: Something like a sebbie/umnumzaan clone in size with a flipper blade. Many other companies offer this style of knife such as ZT, Hinderer,Galyean, etc. This is definately one of the hotter designs being made today. I can only imagine how great a flipper from CRK would be ???. Plus, we would not have to wait forever and hit the lottery to get one. CRK would mass produce this making it one of the greatest knives of them all. If CRK should come out with this a some point, they already have sold One to me !!!

Two Blade Double Framelock: Basically a sebenza, with a framelock on each slab so it can utilize Two Blades. Perhaps one in the regular sebenza or 21 profile and the other with a Sheepsfoot blade, or even just a smaller sebenza style blade. CRK could easily do this as they make both left and right hand sebenzas. You would just need a thin slab of titanium to stabilize the center, and longer pivot bushings and screws. I Want One !!!

Milti-Tool: I would love to see a milti-tool from CRK. With just some basic tools, dont need 30 of them. I have heard people saying no one would buy a $400 multi-tool........we spend $400 on a single blade framelock !!! With CRK Quality, it should be amazing.

Small Umnumzaan: This is what many are clamouring for. I would probably get one over time, but for those that love the regular sized zaan, and want something smaller, this would fit the bill nicely.

Small Kitchen Knife: I would love to see a 3" or 4" kitchen knife. The 6" currently made is just too big for my kitchen uses. This would work great for slicing fruit, vegetables; you name it. I think a paring knife size would be great and a good seller for them.

Small Belt Axe: Nothing huge, just a small version for all your camping needs with a nice belt sheath from Gffellar. Imagine a small axe head out of S30V, it would not rust, it would hold an edge, and would surely be a hit with the Huge Bushcraft Population !!!

I am sure I will think of some other things, but these are some of the knives I have been wanting from CRK, especially the Flipper, Two Blade Sebenza, Milti-Tool, and Small Kitchen Knife.

Let me know what you guys have in mind ??? Maybe CRK will see that nearly all of us want something in particular and will make it one day. There is always power in numbers !!!

I am in for some type of multi-tool SAK creation. I wouldn't mind if it were airline friendly, ie no blade. ( I know .....almost impossible.)

I've been waiting on a Small Umnumzaan for two years. Even though I only like small folders at 3" or less, I bought a regular Umnumzaan just because I like the knife design that much. It's the only knife over 3" I own.

I am almost positive the Small Umnum is coming; the only question is when we'll see it.

I would buy a multi tool or a small axe from the Chris Reeve company. Most my co workers carry a Gerber multi tool and I carry a Large Sebenza (Crosshair). They would laugh if they knew I paid 450 for a single blade knife, but it makes me feel good when I use it for any cutting in front of them. It is going to be very hard for Chris Reeve to come up with something new that is better or as good as the Sebenza or one piece knives. If it can be done the Chris Reeve Company is the one to get the job done to develope a new product, but a Sebenza might be as good as it gets in a folding knife for a long time.

I would be absolutely estatic to see a sebenza or umnum with a 3.3 inch blade. Either one would work just fine. I love the Sebenza but the small is just a tad smaller than I like and the large is bigger than I need for every day chores. If they would make a medium sized framelock I would be all over it!

Edit: Oh ya and lately I've been thinking I'd love to have a small sebenza inlay'd with polished carbon fiber!

Flippers, don't hold your breath. Chris stated a long time ago he wasn't interested. I have all the Galyean Pro Series and they are a hell of a good deal for the price. Collaboration with another custom maker who does a great job on flippers? Now that would be interesting.

Small Umnum, agreed, I would carry one.

I asked at Blade if there was any chance of a Sebenza with damascus blade and matching damascus inlays? Didn't get a solid yes or no. I'd be the first in line to buy one.

Flippers = Fail

I share the dislike of flippers. I also don't think they have a place on a CRK knife, but hey anything can happen.

I would really like to see a titanium "inlay" model with a checking like the Umnumzaan on the Sebenza. I would also really like to see a return of the Regular pattern, though I don't think that will happen any time soon.

umfaan with pocket clip! multi-tool would be great, but the price would be out of my league...

most of these ideas are great, smaller umnum, multitool. I would like to see a small titanium handled slipjoint(probqbly not nearly popular enough) and also bring back the umfaan, i want one or six of them

IM with living michila in this one, a matching damscus inlay would be SICK. I would buy that so quickly those would be sooooo awesome

I waited ten years for the Insingo, I am willing to wait a little longer for the inlay versions.

I agree that mokume or damascus inlays would be a great option on the Mnandi as well as the Sebenza.

1. Reintroduction of the large and small regular profile Sebenza's, and...

2. Large and Small Annual Inlays with a Green Micarta or Carbon Fiber option.

Professor.
