I like the idea of the one piece knives, but the handle doesn't look like it would be too friendly to use much. Who has one of these, and actually uses them? Are the comfortable to use? Pics of any users in action maybe?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Straight titanium handles makes it a bit uncomfortable for hard or even average use.

I have a small sebenza in my pocket right now. Is it the most comfortable knife to hold? Hell no but I do love owning and using it.

The one piece knives are not made of Titanium, and the Sebenza is more than 1 piece. The OP might be referring to the actual 1 piece knives with hollow handles. ;)

Hollow handle knives have been around for a while. They aren't necessarily uncomfortable, but they are not the most ergonomic models available. I handled a Sable IV some years back, and it was a great fixed blade, light weight and nicely balanced.

FYI, the one piece line with solid handles have been discontinued. Most of them have become collectors pieces.

"Eddie and Caroline wanted to retire - Ed wants to buy a boat again and go fishing whenever he feels like it! This brought us to a cross-roads - should we try to source a vendor in the USA or should we simply retire a "Classic". We decided to take the second choice - to discontinue the One Piece Range. Final orders for these knives were taken at the end of 2009 and the last of the knives made will be delivered during the first half of 2010."
