Hi guys i was wondering what is the best way to take the lanyard off of my sebenza. Should i just untie it or are there a better way to take it off.

Thanks

You can also disassemble the knife then take out the lanyard. There are great threads on this forum for correct disassemblement. I'm mobile right now or id hook you up with a link like Esav did.

You can also just take the pin out and leave it tied to the lanyard. If you think you might want to use the lanyard again in the future that might be a better option.

They are pretty easy to tie. It is also sometimes called a hangman's noose, that's what my dad called them when he taught me to tie them.

I would just use the allen wrench, disassemble the Sebenza, and remove the lanyard pin with the lanyard still attached. Like Haze suggested, in case you want to put it back in the future it's ready to go. Otherwise you would have to untie it, try to keep from losing the pin, and learn how to re-tie the knot.

Alternatively, you can just cut the paracord. On the Umnumzaan and the large Sebenza, the lanyard pin should just come right out.
