So, I ordered a Chris Reeve Microfiber Polishing Cloth about a month ago, and I went to order a few more today for "stocking stuffers". The only company that I knew of that carried these cloths were out of stock. Does anyone know where to purchase these cloths or are they not made anymore? I've searched the internet and really couldn't find much of anything. Thanks for the help.

Is there something 'special' about the Chris Reeves microfiber cloth or is it a generic microfiber cloth that he sells? Today, every shop seems to sell some sort of microfiber cloth. Some have a nape to them like a terrycloth towel while others are more like a chamois. I use the smoother ones for camera lenses, and the more towel-like ones for polishing my motorcycle. My wife use them as dish towels. Costco sells them in packages of 36 for $15. That's less than half the price of the Chris Reeves cloths.

What are the Chris Reeves cloths like that make them worth twice the price?

That doesn't answer the OP's question. He wants to know where to find these specific cloths. OP, it is available directly from Chris Reeve. Try to stack an ideal order to make the shipping cost worthwhile.

You will never have a satisfactory answer to your last question. You do not agree with buying such an item. You hippocrite, you don't seem to have a problem bringing your own agenda to a thread. Take your own advice before you call people out on it.

They are more like a chamois. Super soft and super thin. Really perfect for wiping down your knife or using it for a table cover when you're breaking it down. Plus it says Chris Reeve Knives on it...

I got that impression after looking at the picture of it. The chamois-type really are soft. And putting the CR brand name on it certainly makes it more appropriate for gift stocking stuffer for a knife lover. I'd worry about using it as a table cover though... Microfiber loves to soak up oil and keep it locked in the fibers. Easy enough to wash out, but the stains seem to remain. I know when I'm cleaning a folder, I really make a mess, especially if I use WD-40 as a cleaner. Lots of drips. Still in all, a nice present to receive!
