Anyone have a line on a Mountaineer II for sale? One I've always wanted as a user. New or used give me a shout. Thanks.
 
There's one on the usual auction site. Please sit down before reading further. It's out there for $450. :D
 
Thanks for the info, I checked ebay not there. Where did you see it ?
 
Fascinating, sort of. It was purchased today, some time after I posted above. $450 is very high for that knife, IMO.

I'm not sure where you can find one but if/when you do jump on it, they are real nice knives. I much prefer the single guard
OPKs like the Mtnrs and Skinner over the twin guard knives like Shadows and Mark VI etc. although they are all great. :):thumbup:

Strongly agree on the single guard! If those are really worth $450 now, my NIB backup may be headed for a new home. :eek:

Still looking, man, these are hard to find. There has to be someone on this fine forum who can help. It will be a user, not a safe queen.
 
I feel it may well be a tough one to find, even when they were still being made it was a knife that didn't last too long in the shops. Never say never though, they are out there.....somewhere. :):thumbup:

Mike, I have seen some One Pieces pop up at local shows. I am sure you've been looking at your area shows, but those are the only places I've seen them. No big shows except for the Chesapeake show, and the Harrisburg outdoors show, but they have popped up at small gun shows down here. What's the next big knife show up there?
