I went by my local gun/knife dealer today to see what was new and, primarily to see if he had any of the new Kershaw knives recently released. Well, he didn't but, he has a shipment coming in. I will have to wait a little longer for one of these. Then the salesman.....

...told me that he just received some fixed blade Chris Reeve knives and pulled a few out. They did look extremely good. The Neil Roberts model really stood out(matter of preference I guess) so, I asked to see it. I picked it up and, from the moment I closed my fingers around the handle I knew this was a special knife. It is, without a doubt, the finest fixed blade knife I have ever handled. I was smitten.

Perfection abounded as I grasped, moved, handled and looked over this knife. The blade profile was ground to perfection, the balance was perfect, the handle simply could not fit my hand any better, and the blade was perfectly sharp and perfectly finished. In short, the entire knife just reeked of quality. It just seems like an impeccably well designed and executed knife.

I will own it on Monday.

Please excuse me for gushing. I don't mean to be a shill. But that sure is a nice knife.

great choice. the warrior was my first expensive knife. it has since been traded, but i will own another some day.

i know you will love it, i loved mine, but couldnt bring myself to use it. so off it went to someone who would.
