Look what the Postman delivered today! Looks like I'm gonna have a new bush knife to play with! I just love the look and feel of this piece. Born July 13th, 2013, practically a newborn.

Beautiful! Don't see enough CRK fixed blades. Maybe I just don't hang around the right parts.

I may not be an expert on batonning, but I don't think that too many people baton with 3.75 inch blades. Have you actually held one of these before? The hollow grind is pretty tall and the corners of the proud tang are nicely rounded--as are every Chris Reeve I've ever held. If you are worried about blisters, I'd recommend either wearing gloves or developing calluses.
 
No I'm not batonning with it. Just things like feather sticks, food prep, game processing, that stuff. I have a hatchet and another, much larger knife for the heavy stuff.

I'm sorry, I'm reporting your post to the mods and hope to get you banned. The idea that someone might actually use a knife in a manner that is consistent with its design is completely inappropriate and scandalous. If you aren't prying with your blade, you just don't belong here, sorry. :(

I always love looking at this knife! I once almost pulled the trigger for the knife, but I think it wouldn't have been exactly my kind of knife. Nevertheless, beautiful!
