chris reeve professional soldier?

Hey everybody

What's the general consensus on this knife? I really like the look/weight and length of this knife.

Though I personally wish it was a different steel....


Couldn't find that much information on it. Only video of it is a spanish guy on youtube, and nobody seems to talk about it either.

We do have a Chris Reeve Knives forum with quite a few threads on the Pro Soldier. As a Registered User you can't use BF's search but you can use Google. Use this for your search term ( Professional Soldier site:Bladeforums.com ) and you'll get a page of results -- including this thread.

I recently got one myself and I am really pleased with it. Good size, except the handle would suit me better with another 1/2 inch. The sheath is good and snug which means very tight until you've worked it a while. The blade is excellent, good size for a compact utility knife, strong and sharp.

It is a somewhat specialized knife, in a class with the Strider ED and Fehrman Thru Hiker, to compare it to other knives I own. You won't get a lot of chatter about it because it's a small fixed blade, not something the mass of knife buyers will favor.

Just chiming in to say that is a very nice looking knife. If not so expensive, I would get one myself.
