Chris Reeve’s Project 1. Project 1 is in excellent condition, it appears to have never been used or sharpened. The sheath appears to have never been carried (no belt time) but does have some scuff marks on the front and impression marks where the knife handle rests. The sheath’s snug fit design is still tight and the draw is still clean. This is the older style sheath with the nylon bolt for keeping the knife in place, i.e. there’s no strap that the current models have. The system works very well and I’m not real sure why CRK stop using it. The knife easily slips in over the nylon bolt and comes out over it just as easily, while the snug fitted sheath design securely retains the knife.
