I bought a small sebenza back in 1993 at a knife show. I was wondering what the letter 'p' next to the CR insignia on the left forward liner/scale meant. I don't see it on the newer ones. Any help is certainly appreciated. Thanks

Once upon a time, Sebs were "hand made" knives,,they were marked with an H. When they changed to a "production" method they added a P to distinguish the two. Excellent knives by the way.
Hope that helps.

:)

My large Sebenza just says "CR" I don't see a P or an H. Hope I don't have a fraud! :)

After they had been production for a while, they stopped marking them with the P, since all of them after that would be.

I'm sorry to hear you have one of the "CR" ones. The "CRap" knives were factory defects that should have been thrown away. As they may fail on your unexpectedly, you should dispose of it as soon as possible. Because I am an extremely considerate person, I would be happy to take it off your hands for free to... uh... take care of it. I'll even pay the shipping. :)
