i just won on ebay for 217 ... that a good price? Chris Reeve small Sebenza, S30V blade, graphic design, moon song ... slightly used ! :)

That is sweeeeeeet!! CONGRATS! If you need to, you can dend it to CRK for check up and sharpening etc. THAT is a GREAT price!! AND for a graphic!!

I never deal on Ebay. Just not a flea market type fellow. Anyway, I hope your deal turns out Ok and, it probably will. You could buy a brand new one from Meridian Tactical for $289 which, in my opinion would have been the preferred purchase as you would get getting a brand new Sebenza. But, it would not be a graphic model.

Actually that one is a classic wth no decorations. The decorated ones go for more. The price form Ebay sounds like a very good price if the knife is in good condition.

Yes, I just looked at the Moon Song graphic and, it's very nice. I like it. The graphic ones are more expensive too. So maybe you did get a good buy but, with a chipped blade......I would still have purchased a new one. Just me.

well i hope its not that bad and i might have it sent in so chris can sharpen it up and checked out ! like mentioned above

What may have contributed to the low price may be that the seller had 0 feedback. kind of a gamble for 200 dollars, I hope it works out :)

I think it was a good price.

I've had very, very few problems with ebay purchases. And, everyone starts out with zero feedback, which lowers selling price in my observation.

To get the price of a CRK check-up, just drop by the internet site.

You can even get another blade fitted, if the chip is too bad (though it looks good by my myopic sight).

Fantastic buy hopefully its ok, and the whole deal goes down good. Great buy I love the moonsong.

I have had great experiences on Ebay, have even bought two sebenzas for real good prices. Just sent one to CRK for tune up and got it back within the week. It looked so good I thought they sent me a new one. They didnt but it looked new, it cost $7.95, which is the cost of the return shipping.

Was looking at the same knife but didn't bid because of the low feedback. Hope it works out well. Did you opt for ins? Please keep us informed when it comes in. Also noticed the seller has a Buck Mayo up right now with a starting bid of $100.

I don't do Ebay--I just don't have the temperment. However, my brother does, and he has gotten some fantastic bargains on customs, as have a number of folks on these forums.

That sounds like a pretty good price to me, especially given the guarantee that CRK has, and their willingness to "tune up" their knives.

However the sale works out, you should keep us posted, and give the seller feedback.

Good luck.

I do ebay all the time as a buyer and seller and have never had a problem although I also don't deal with 0 feedback or low feedback sellers on expensive items. It looks like a great deal. There is nothing that could be wrong with that knife that CRK won't fix so I would say that you've got nothing to worry about.
