This knife was made in 1988. The blade is made of D2 steel.

Congrats! Nice piece! I saw you bidding on it and already wondered when the pictures where showing up. Definitely worth the money!

The seller stated it was ATS-34. It's D2 for sure? And that it was ser #34?!?

That's one beefie sombitch!
 
This is #30, the recent auction was for an early production model, P34 with an ATS-34 blade.
