Just wanted to get some comments and opinions on the most recent TiLock knives being release by Chris Reeve... I often wonder why some say knife isn't good for heavy use like gutting a deer since the lock seems very adequate to keep the blade locked and in the open position. (perhaps I am wrong) What good is a knife if you can't use it for typical chores for a knife of that size

Due to the size/shape of the "blue band" (aka: thin), it is a bit more prone to twisting and/or flexing. Because of this, it can unlock under heavy use or develop some play over time. With that said...it is a fantastic knife for medium-duty work. The only reason I sold mine is because my hands are far too large to fit it well.
