Probably. If you're real quick with the steel. I'd get one of the early passes if you can, that's when a huge portion of the real desirable stuff sells, before the show even starts officially.

I have a general ticket for Friday, but the early passes were sold out. Is there anywhere else to get them?

Privilege is always a (Rich, Witch, Itch . . .you get it) in most aspects of life.

I used to participate in a local camera show here in Houston. Back in the 1990s, it was one of the largest camera shows in the US (way back then). I got in to the early pre-show by being a member of the club that sponsored the show and paying for a table. I don't know anything about the knife show discussed here, but that might be a way in . . .pay for a space and bring in some stuff. The same is true for gun shows, watch collectors shows and events for folks who buy and sell antique glass and china . . .like my wife.

What is the knife show like?

Go to CRK’s website, look at the authorized dealer list, go to those dealer websites and sign up for their new product alerts or in-stock notifications.

I read how hard these were to get but did this same thing and had no issue getting one within a couple of weeks. Try this now and you may not have to wait till Blade.

Also, you can go to the CRK forum here, specifically the CRK For Sale forum and subscribe to it for new postings. There have been some Zaans listed over the last week or so, that’s another avenue to get one. Seems that not too long after a dealer is able to get some and sell out, a couple make their way here for sale. Just be patient and don’t pay the huge markup some flippers like to tack on lol.

So, what is the Blade Show like?

Anything like a gun show with rows of sis foot tables? Or is it more commercial with booths like the SHOT Show?

Its a combination of tables and booths. Get a map. Plan who you want to see. Hit them first and then walk around. Lots of treasures hidden.

BLADE show is the biggest and best knife show in the country, and there are like 900+ vendors and tables. Both dealers, makers get tables, and plenty of smalltimers who are just there to sell collections as well. Hidden gems are everywhere.

Super fun, haven't been back in years but it's on my list eventually

Yea, other people already had real good advice about signing up for alerts at some of the dealers, honestly though they don't seem to be too hard to find on the used market. You can check here and on facebook on some of the knife groups there. I'm not looking for one so I haven't really paid attention to secondary market prices lately but I see them pop up frequently.

As for a Zaan, it's my next CRK purchase. Spark has had them in his shop before. I would send him a PM and see what he has.

Thanks for the experiential sharing.

Sounds like something I'd like to do someday., . .soon.
