Chris Reeve vs. Other Similar Brands

Are there any other knife manufacturers or brands who are similar to Chris Reeve? Specifically, I'm referring to the encouragement by any other knife companies to disassemble/clean their folding knives as Chris Reeve does?

Burger knives used to come with disassembly tools. I don't know if they still do. Grimsmo's Rask definitely comes with a nice wiha torx tool. I heard (Devil's radio) that Spyderco recently announced that disassembly will no longer void their warranty.

I doubt you will find another that is easier to disassemble and clean.
I can think of some others that won't void the warranty, but it is up to you to put them back together properly and on some blade centering can be a little work.
If you can't put a CRK back right -which is hard to imagine, you can just send the parts back and they will do it.

Not similar...but some of the recent Boker knives I have seen have a tool in the box!
I believe WE knife also include a tool for their proprietary hardware. Don't know much about the Lionsteel TRE but I believe that also comes with some tools...

Emerson definitely encourages and designed his knives to be taken apart. Hence why he eschewed the use of torx for more common screw types.

Brad Southard sells back spacers and such for his Tolk and even has videos of how to disassemble it and center the blade when assembling.

I think Benchmade also doesnt void warranty if u dissasemble. Once i actually sent them a dissasembled doug ritter grip but they didnt put it together for me. They took care of the issue i had they just didnt assemble it because the handles were from a different grip and the doug ritter doesnt came with those. They reason they posted was they wont assemble a knife if it didnt come with the stock materials that model supposed to be with (handle scales vs blade/steel)

No brand that I know of sells knives that are so easy to take down / clean. Other manufacturers may encourage disassembly, but they have numerous unnecessary screws or other hardware, which makes it a pain in the ass.

The fact that CRK includes the tools is a bonus.

Ok, I think the Inkosi is what I want. Hate to take the subject matter on a different path, but where is the best place to sell off a small knife collection? There are 8 knives in total, with 7 of them being being stockman type knives with values from $50.00 to $150.00. The odd ball knife is a Buck custom 110 with elk slabs and a BG42 blade. All knives are handled but not sharpened.

Yup. The Gold membership is completely worth it for the search function alone. Selling is the icing on the cake.
