How is this relevant?
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I thought it was cool.
Quoted this from a Sticky Thread on the CR sub forum. Goes to show how innovative and praised Spyderco can be. ;]

"How do you get the knife so sharp, and what do you recommend to keep it that way?
Sebenzas are sharpened at 19-20 degrees. We recommend the Spyderco Sharpmaker because it is so easy to use. The way to have a sharp knife is to begin with it properly sharpened and then maintain it! Don't let it get really dull because it can be hard to get an edge back again Because the Spyderco system is so easy to use, a person is inclined to use it. It seems that a lot of people put off the maintenance of things because it is a hassle to get out the equipment and do the necessary!"

It is just amazing that Spyderco has produced such a system that is so widely used and recommended!

When Chris was still living and producing knives in South Africa he distributed Spyderco sharpening equipment here long before anyone else picked up on it.

He has always recommended Spyderco sharpening equipment and he has always had an excellent relationship will Spyderco.......

I've said it before and I'll say it again. CRK needs to let Sal make the blade and ship it to Idaho. CRK can take over from there. That way we get Spyderco cutting performance, the opening hole, the full flat grind.... Then in the very same knife we're getting the ceramic detent ball, the bank vault lockup, the CRK smooooooooth action, the hand fitting. Oh man, what a collab that would be! Yikes. Come on people, start with a 2000 piece run of these Spyderbenzas.... Then take over the world with em!!! :D

That's not a bad idea, right there. I absolutely LOVE my Sebenza, but the thumbstud is my one quibble- it's too small for me. An opening hole on a Sebenza would be amazing- I have a hard time getting my head around how awesome that would be.

one ugly badass knife with superior performance. But ... ugly :)

I've been thinking of how cool it would be for CRK to do a "homage" to Spyderco as Sal has done with the "RIL"... Personally, I'd rather CRK do all the work... but a Lg 21 Seb with a spydie hole... man that would be the "tits."

I agree it would be the Bees Knees! I may even be as bold as to say it would be PANTS !

I'd love to see that too. Tip up is the only reason why I don't own a Sebenza and I prefer the Spyderhole to lugs.

I had a large regular at one point, and I didn't mind the lugs. I also didn't mind the clip position. I just found I liked my Military better.

Tip down would definitely make me grab another, and a round hole would probably be killer if done right.

That would be sweet, FFG S30V plus spydie hole, with the quality from both companies, NICE!:D
