Yes I’m new to the forum and reeves knives but needless to say bought one then next week bought another my question is the 21 came with a pretty noticeable full convex bevel and my umnumzaan came flat grind is the typical of the different knives or had one been re profiled

Welcome to the forum
it is Reeve not Reeves :)
I only have the 21 style and hollow grind is normal. He made a couple(handful or so) flat grind Sebenzas at one point but they are all collectors items. The edge is convex due to them being sharpened on a belt sander.

My umnumzaan is for sure a flat grind maybe it was special run or something then

My Umnumzaan Tanto has a high hollow grind similar to my Sebenza drop points. Birth date on the Zaan is 4.20.2016.

FWIW I wouldn't call any of them convex grinds; they're more concave, but I believe the term high hollow grind is more correct.

A normal Umnumzaan is hollow ground with a convex edge.

I have never heard of a flat ground umnumzaan. Maybe there’s one out there? Can you post pictures?
