I wanted to post pictures of gifts from some members I had received and one came up missing. A beautiful S&M large Saddlehorn worm grove I had gotten from Jack (Mrknife). Well after ransacking the house I remembered I had used it at my Daughters house to help her husband break down a bunch of cardboard. I called and sure enough it was lying on the shelf where I left it so I will have to post a picture after I go get it. Anyway here goes my Christmas gifts from some outstanding members,

First up is a NOS Boker 493 Barlow still in the blister pack from Shawn Wurrwulf.

Next came a package from Jack (Mrknife) it contained the S&M Saddlehorn a #15 Boy's knife he had modded to a clip point and an amazing guitar pick he made me from solid silver.

Fantastic stuff, lovely knives there Randy :) Well done guys, thanks for looking after one of The Porch's kindest :)

Congrats on those fantastic Christmas gifts, Randy; impressive Barlow theme in that pile of presents!!:thumbup:
I'm sure not many will agree with me, but my favorite is that sweet Böker Barlow; I just like the way it rings a nostalgia bell for me!
Accolades to Shawn, Jack, and Bob (and Randy, too :D) for giving Randy some of his own medicine and putting him on the "receiving end" for once! ;)

Randy, thanks for sharing this story. Because of (rather unreasonable) work commitments, I've been almost totally absent from The Porch for almost a week, and that will continue for the next 3 weeks. I've been somewhat surprised by how much I've missed keeping up with the goings-on here, including admiring everyone's daily carries in the Totin' Today thread. But I think what I've missed the most are the stories of generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness (like this thread from Randy) that pop up almost every day and invariably improve my attitude each time I read one! (Just ask my wife how grumpy I've become this week!:rolleyes:) It's great to have a few minutes this weekend to try to spend a little quality time on The Porch and discover a whole bunch of threads about GAW winners and other gift recipients, as well as the generous benefactors who make it possible!:thumbup:

Randy, the friendship we've formed here means so much more to me than a knife. We share so much in common and you've offered a good ear and advise in times of need. I had pre ordered the TC Barlow when first announced and saved the money for it. Then my daughter offered to buy me the knife (I'm quite sure my grandson was behind this part of the equation), at which time the wheels started spinning. I saw that Barry had some so I contacted Barry and sure enough, a second TC was in motion. I knew all along where it would end up. :D ;)
I hope you enjoy the small token of our friendship buddy. :D

Randy , yer a good feller. You give a lot, to people and the porch. Good to know yer a picker too, many many of my friends are musicians. Glad I have one more.
Thanks, Neal

Your a well deserving man, Randy. That guitar pick is incredibly cool! Enjoy them, my friend.

Much deserved accolades and gifts for Randy. Thumbs up to the givers, as well!
