Christine McVie: The Songbird Keeps Singing

She died peacefully at a hospital in the company of her family, a statement said.

I love her voice, weather lead or backup. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.

She was 79. I’m reaching that age where everything make me feel old. <sigh>.

Christine along with her husband were members of the original "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" in England before they dropped Peter Green, came to America, and got Stevie Nicks. The original band was more of a blues band and they did a song called "I Loved Another Woman" whose melody was usurped by Santana for "Black Magic Woman". Christine was the main female voice in the original band, backup for most of the second iteration of the band.
