Christmas 2021 The Good,Bad,and Ugly Present Thread

The good

The bad and ugly

My BIL couldn't find any 450 Bushmaster . But he remembered that I have a 45/70 what he didn't know was it's an original 1873 Springfield Trapdoor. 148 years old, Chamber pressure’s and all that stuff. I didn't have the heart to tell him.

We don't do much for Christmas gift card, tea , mug snacks from daughter and grandkids .25 cal pellets from my wife. Not really intended for Christmas but my wife bought a replacement small crockpot for one that failed . It is the size I like 2 quart, but has heat controls like a bigger one it arrived in time for Christmas I made stew yesterday . I believe it is the best one of the many I've had over the years.

I may have some 405 "government loads" safe for trapdoors -- if I can find them, I could trade you.

I don't think my 45-70 Handi-rifle. That I bought in 1993 has ever had a factory round fire in it . I know my Savage 22-250 hasn't
