Used my Christmas cash to pick up an Active Duty from Skunk.
Been a while sense I have had one, forgot what a great knife they are.Spent the afternoon making a couple sheaths for it.
Got one rivet a little off center on the OD one so I went ahead and did a black one.

Jeff, Congrats Bro!!! The AD is and has been one of my favorite Busse's. Excellent EDC and general purpose blade:cool:.

Yep. Them ADs is the shizzle.

From the Boney to the OD, it's a friggin' awesome platform! I'd like to have another Boney and a few more ODs......:D

Enjoy!

Nice grab, I almost went for it as well.

I have a Boney. The only thing I would add is a version with no choil (or a minisule choil if must be).

I am really liking it.
Thinking I might replace the Rat Warden on my duty belt with it seeing how the first two sheaths I made for it will take a large tech-loc.
Got to tip my hat to those professional kydex benders.I have made 4 sheaths so far.First one fit great but I off centered one of the holes, second one fit great but then I remembered the hole spacing on the large and small tech-loc are not the same,3rd one I cut a little to close at the top so it is now in the trash,4th is sitting here half done waiting on a small tech-loc so I can center the holes just right.
Seems straight forward on the sheaths but there are many little things to think about when doing them, most likely not much for a pro but if you only do one every now and then its a lot to think about.
My son is talking about saving enough to pick up an AD or SAR 3 at Blade,he really likes the feel of this AD.

Congrats on scoring the AD. I know what you mean about kydex. I have made a few and found that it is not as easy as the benders here on the forums make it look.
