So, who's getting their loved ones something from Kershaw this holiday season?

I am!

So far:

ZT205
Shallot
Skyline

Anyone else?

perhaps a few cyclones and minis since they are on the way out and on sale at SMKW......

I already picked up 2 Mini Cyclones as gifts, will get a pink DAM Scallion for my daughter, and I'm getting ready to order a Tyrade for myself:D.Santa has to look out for #1 sometimes.

Maybe we'll see a CPM-D2 or CPM-S110V composite edge with a damascus backing for the Tyrade? I'm not a fan of certain blade steels, but it'd be neat to have a DAM Tyrade every now and then.

I've been avoiding this thread because I did this last year, and sadly state
that I'm not doing it this year. I gotta come up with something different.

I might do a $100 wrapped around a Leek or something, but to heck with all that giftwrap.

:p

And a quick apology....

sorry for starting the season so early!!

I personally get really, really uneasy/uncomfortable come December in any type of retail environment, and I always find myself helping the family from December onward, so I try to get all the shopping done by early November - really takes the worry out of things.

Allora, ho bisogno di completare il mio lavoro, ciao. :)

12 MC's on their way here now. I just hope they get here before we leave for the Annual Melvinville Fall Jar Fest!

ol, not to bust your bubble, but I shall arrive home sober. Do you think I'm going to trust Sandy driving a lifted Tahoe and 27 ft. camper? Don't think so......

Now, while I'm down there...that's a different story! Once the truck is parked, it won't move for 4 days. If I need to go somewhere, there's golf carts a plenty! But I most likely won't need them as the weather looks like it is going to cooperate for the Annual Melvinville Fall Jar Fest Mud Dance! Way too much fun to be had to leave!

How many MCs are getting put away for a rainy day DV?

I planned on stashing 3-4 of mine...but I always give stuff away, so I havent decided yet.

Speaking of gifts, what do you guys think of the Oso? My brother in law wont carry an expensive knife, because he abuses them to death (he is a machinist/welder/mechanic)...and it has to be relatively flat, but mainly light weight. He wont carry anything heavy. Is the Oso a good fit?

J, just going to keep one or two. They're cheaper by the dozen, so ya never know. There might just be a few of them given away before Christmas!

Maybe if anyone I personally knew liked knives, and more importantly, if I had a less pathetic collection of knives for myself. Regardless of MY knife situation, though, I'm going to have to do a 1000 post giveaway, and who knows, that may be a Christmas gift to someone here on this board.

Two of mine are leaving this week. Saving the other two for my brothers for Xmas. Leaves me 3.

I think these will rebound in value. I know where to find a handful more at $24 a crack.

It's just not the same as my TiZDP, but it is like the red headed stepchild I will actually tote around. Nonetheless, I got June 08s, and they are nice and crispy, and came with phenomenal edges. Since I already cracked the seal on one for myself, I think Im going to drop a wickedly thin convex on one to see what happens.
