'Tis the season for GIVING!

just think... If everyone who reads this post buys a knife for a friend not familiar with edged tools... We could really boost appreciation and acceptance of knives!

Who do you know that could learn to appreciate a nice knife?
and..What WILL YOU buy to spread the word???

I think I'll get my stepbrother a Spyderco Kiwi!!!

Who wouldnt love THAT!

Good choice of knife for a newbie to get, great classic looks and new modern appeal all wrapped up together, nice choice.

I'm thinkin' about getting my brother a nice Queen D2 stockman. Trouble is, when I start ordering for others, I usually get more for myself! (is that REALLY a problem?) Only hurts the pocket book I guess. Also flirting with the idea of a nice nordic knife from Ragnar's site.... hmmmm.
Yep, X-mas shopping is fun and dangerous.
enjoy, Mongo

This year, I plan on giving several knives as gifts. A Merlin to a boating friend, a Rescue Jr. to a diving buddy and SS Endura to a biker pal, all serrated. I've really enjoyed choosing what I think would be the right knife for each of them. I know that these people have knives already, but nothing like what Santa's bringing them. I also stashed a few 50/50 Spydercards and a plainedge Navigator for last minute stocking stuffers. Some of the great deals that I learned about from this forum have made these buys irresistable...so I got one of each for myself as well. ;) I was also thinking about giving a Spydercard for our office grab bag but that might be too much for the sheeple to take. I can hear them now, "Wow, what are you gonna do with that thing?".
