My wife always does this. Christmas bounty from her is unreal. This year, she over did it again. We promised to order something we wanted - give it to the other when it arrived - and nothing else. I've stored goodies since October for her - as she did for me (The two Bucks from early October... later added the A.B.!). She lied! I also got a Boker Neil Blackwood 'Pipsqueak' and a black bladed Benchmade 755 MPR (My 24/7 EDC is a plain 755 - nice to have a backup!). Oh, and a PRC made DSP-equipped Tecsun PL-606 LW/MW/SW/FM shirt pocket portable with unreal capability ($30-$50 depending on the source.). Yeah, I lied too... she got a bunch of 'stuff', including a new laptop.

I try to budget hers - it'll likely be summer before her lap top is paid off - at zero interest - everything else by the end of this month. Still, I leave a paper trail... she doesn't. I know I am blessed - and have fortunes beyond my belief - and I am most appreciative... ane even humbled.
