Here is a bowie i made for a friend of mine that got me into bladesmithing. It features a 12 inch blade made from extra improved plow steel cable. All the fittings are made of brass. The handle is white tail deer antler. The sheath has a poplar wood core with ray skin, suede leather, and black bear claws with teeth. also i made a simple display stand out of ash and more white tail antler.

the claws just have a hole through them with a copper insert, and i thread the leather lace through them.
