Santa showed up in the form of a FedEx driver this morning. Take a look...
First is a Kit Carson Model 4 GT Bolster Lock. This one is numbered TWO OF THREE that Kit will be doing in the large size. Two other forumites got the other two. What could be better than integral lock Carson? Three integral lock Carsons, of course.
Mine sports a 4" CPM 440V blade with an unsharpened secondary grind along the top. The whole knife has Kit's ceramic bead blast finish. The thing that suprised me most is how thin this knife is. I was expecting an Outdoor Edge Magna-like knife. Instead, it's even thinner than my Spyderco Starmate! Sweet! Fit and finish are, as usual, near perfect.

Next up is a Medium Model 4 with stabilized California Buckeye scales. It has a 3.5" CPM 420V clip point blade with a hand rubbed finish. The titanium bolsters, liners, and full-length fileworked backspacer are anodized in a beautiful gold to accentuate the wood. The liners and inside of the backspacer are jeweled as well. Special thanks to Alan Folts for helping me pick out the wood.

Kit also "threw in" a Daryl Meier damascus tanto fixed blade as a Christmas present. I need to put handles on it, but he included all the screws and even fileworked the perimeter of the handle. What a guy!
Not a bad couple of presents if I do say so myself.
