I just got a knock at the front door by UPS and used my trusty 112 to open a rather large box from El Cajon. Inside was the custom 110 I had ordered. I can't send pictures and I don't even have a digital camera but I tell you this is a thing of beauty.....finger grooves, Flamewood without the pins showing, brass bolsters and a nice BG42 blade with my initials and the year engraved on the blade. Wow! I think I'll be carrying this one as my number one knife. I'm impressed with the quality. The flamewood appears to be sealed and is smooth as glass. It looks even better than what is shown on the website. I could get hooked on these things. I'm beginning to feel a sudden urge to order one with the elk horn handle. It's a good thing they've stopped taking orders for a while! :D
 
I've got one with elk horn on its way right now. :) Unfortunately I am going to be leaving for a week and probably will not be able to see it until I get back. :grumpy:

TSchloz... Please do post a pic when you get it. I'm interested in getting a 110 with Elk, and a high polished blade to match my Buck Dagger.

Mike, yours sounds gorgeous.

I'll see if I can get a picture up. A little while back a gentleman that goes by the name The Last Confederate posted pictures of his elk 110 and also a stag 110. Do a search for elk 110 and I think It comes up.

My Elk 110 showed up just a little while ago. Buck sent it 2nd day air. :D I guess they wanted to make sure it was here for Christmas. Thanks Buck! :)
I will see if I can figure out how to post a picture when I get back. Merry Christmas to all.

By the way, When I respond to my own post does that mean I am talking to myself? :rolleyes:
