Very Cool... I'd be excited too.
I like your choice for the companion in the picture too :D

thanks guys! i love it so far. been pawing it all day. this is my 1st Ar platform, and i've been wanting one ever since i solf my ak about 2 years ago

I just bought a S&W M&P 15OR myself. My advice? Get in line now if you want some PMAG 30-rounders. Everyone is out, and most are just taking backorders currently.

My local store had a ton of PMAG just before Turkey day...for $19 each too! and the 20 rounders for $25.

I can't get over the Clinton & Wesson deal to buy another S&W, even though the company has changed hands.

With the panic buying of AR15's, I am waiting for S&W stock (SWHC) to jump out of the $2.00 range.

Understandable but really the company was owned by a British concern during the Clinton years and is now back in more patriotic hands.

If you want to continue holding that grudge, Ruger was just as bad or worse than S&W and is still controlled by the same people.

How about a Colt with the big pin upper and sear block? Quality control was also spotty for many years.

S&W, Sigarms, and Winchester have all changed hands several times. If you want to get on the anti-assault/high capacity pistol magazine ban band wagon, buy something from FN. Their ownership of Browning, Winchester, and the FN brands has been good for the American shooter. FN made the investment to produce low volume EVIL rifles and pistols like the PS-90, FS-2000, five seven pistol to name a few and I'm rewarding their commitment with my recent purchases.

And, nice score on that S&W rifle! :D

thank you very much fellas! i've not gotten to hit the range yet. i'm hoping to get it out this weekend at some point. it's been raining non stop here so i've not been able to take any pictures either. i love this rifle.

Nice rifle! I need to pick up one to go with my TRR8 revolver. Smith and Wesson products are generally high quality and their ARs are no exception.

still haven't had a chance to shoot her due to horrible weather, but today was sunny JUST LONG ENOUGH to snap a few decent pics outside. enjoy
