At last!

Most of the knives I ordered in December have come through the postal system-including the Bura 18 inch WW2.

What a beauty. And, Yangdu put a kukri badge in and Happy New Year greetings as well. It's been said before but its worth repeating, HI service is second to non.

Strangely enough, the other two khuks that were sent out before the WW2 havent appeared yet. Not a surprise considering my Al Mar Nomad was posted on the 10th of December and just reached me yesterday. Seems to have been some hold up with the post over December, maybe down to the security alert. I'm sure the other two will turn up any day now.

Anyways, all the best to Uncle Bill, Yangdu and everyone at HI. I'm off to play with my new toys ;)

( there's a Bark River Highland Special as well :D )

I bet blades sent to Britain are a hard ride. They let you keep those at home?

If they ever need political asylum you know where to send them.

Congrats on your KHuk.

This time customs didnt even open up the box to have a look. Still taxed me though...

Outside of switchblades, balisongs, sword canes and push daggers, most things are legal to own. Its the carrying and using that causes the problems.

A kind offer on the asylum. My brother in Milwalkee has made the same offer regarding my air rifle and pistol. Showed me his Browning Hi Power, Winchester style lever action, scout rifle, (Cooper specs), and .303 over the webcam this xmas. Not that I'm jealous or anything...

This Khuk is number 10, (five new, two second hand, three given as gifts), all of them HI.

HIKV is alive and well in the UK ;)

You and your clan of Khuk admirers may the last bastion of defense should England be attacked..by anyone outside, that is.

Your brother has a rifle made to Cooper specs? I'd be curious how much it cost him.

I'll ask him about the rifle when I get the chance and get back to you. It's been years since I read Guns and Ammo, (not much point now over here).
