Out chopping this morning and I figured I'd get my camera and take a couple pics.
Here's my nmfshle. I hit it with a light coat of spray plasti dip to easily see where the sweet spot is:
After a little chopping:
Worked MUCH better than I expected, I even plunged the tip in to see how well it penetrates. Not bad for oak and such a thick blade. You can see the sweet spot for chopping is right about in the middle.
I noticed after I took this picture I had mt first ever Busse tri-fecta! RH, NMFSHLE, 1311:
The 1311, I call it the chopfather:
Here's my RH, I had RichrdJ put a secondary bevel on the top edge, good for making flat spots:
Main edge cuts deep, you can see the beard poking out a bit
Lovin the spike:
While I had the RH flipped around, striking with the spike, I caught my sleeve a bit with the beard
didn't get any skin, went through my outer shirt, but not my base layer :thumbup:
