We have a winner!!! Post #34 black mamba.

I have decided to give away a knife as a "Christmas Eve Gift". It will be a traditional pattern, which I have already chosen, but will not divulge. The give away will run through midnight Saturday December 18, 2010. To be eligible for this give away, you must have posted in this subforum 2 or more times in the last 168 hours preceeding this post.

Read this carefully. If you enter this give away and are qualified, you will need to check to see if you are a winner Sunday morning and send me your mailing information so that I will have a chance of getting it to you on or before the 24th. You folks that are not in the USA, you can still enter, but I cannot ship anywhere the USPS will not deliver and I can't guarantee that it will arrive before 12/24/2010. Indeed I cannot guarantee that it will arrive at all, but you are welcome to enter.

This is my way of saying Merry Christmas my forum friends here in "Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades".

Well I see I have to edit this post some as I am not interested in you folks sending me any of that "Ol Midwest winter"; stay warm and have a great Christmas.

It would be appreciated, but not required, that you post a picture here of the "Christmas Eve Gift" when you receive it. Ed

Thanks for the chance Ed. I had to double check to make sure I qualified since I post kind of sporadically. I'm looking forward to seeing what it is even if I don't win.

No, no, guys. No pictures now unless you just want to. We all like pictures.... :D

I meant since no one but me knows what this knife is (and it is a knife), I think it would be appropriate for the winner to post a photo here of the knife when it is received so everyone will know what it is.

I guess my OP was in the genre of "Throw the cow over the fence a bale of hay." - Ed
 
No mid-west winter here; we're in the middle of a dust storm. Visibility is 30 yds. But at least it's not snowing...
 
Steve, that's a cool picture in more ways than one. If you win this giveaway, you need to post a photo of the knife. I would appreciate it if you would keep all that snow and stuff up there. If you send me any of that stuff, I'll be sending you some 100 degree, 90% RH next August in return.

I like your decorations and your tree; mine's still in the box.
