Christmas gifts! What did you guys get/receive?

Did anyone get anything for Christmas they were REALLY hoping for? Maybe you received something you didn't expect :D

My Nana gave me some money, a hat that I swear is from the 90's. . . . It has a huge fluff ball on the top :cool: and a sweater that has a fern on the back of it :D She is just awesome :thumbup: Overall I was very happy with what I received. A couple pairs of socks (the awesome fluffy kind) and an electric blanket. . . it's currently 10 degrees out so I am pretty excited about that!

It was not much and I am OK with that. The spirit of Christmas is giving, after all :thumbup:

Let me know what you got! Maybe if it's cooler than my gift, we can trade your item for my fern sweater :rolleyes:
 
Its no fern sweater but I gave my Dad the tan BIG ASH that I was fortunate enough to receive and I kept the red & black BIG and the FAT custom below for myself. I was very blessed this Christmas in many ways. Great Friends, Family and the best gift of all was I got to watch my 15 month old son experience Christmas for the first time this year. It was pretty cool. Next year maybe I'll give my son an ASH but he was pretty hooked on Mickey Mouse this year. I wish you all the very best of luck in 2015 and thanks for the ASH Pokey!

My wife had the flu real bad over the holidays so I went out and got her an electric blanket. She's 40 years old and had never used and electric blanket. She loves it. Not technically a Christmas gift, but it is probably the thing she enjoys most right now.

I got a Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker I had been wanting for a while. I can't wait to break it in.
 
image.jpg I have been wanting the Spyderco Lum Tanto folder for a while . I have the Benchmade version of the Lum Tanto and love it . My son found one in excellent condition and got it for me for Christmas.
 
I got a Big Fat Bloody Ribeye Steak and Salad....But I had to make the Pecan Pie....My Dad can cook a steak like a Caveman....:D
 
Had a great Christmas. Got a new deer target and work boots and my kids got me the entire Walking Dead dvd collection.

For Christmas I recieved a DMT sharpening kit along with lg double sided DMT stone and aligner. I was fortunate and greatefull this year for time spent with family and close friends, always a great time. My best friend always has me over Christmas morning ish, he has two younger children. I always enjoy bringing over their gifts ( see pic ) , we of course indulge in some high octane coffees :D For my Dad I gifted him a AMS for a new hunting blade, Mom recieved some outdoor stuff for the yard that she likes. Was a really great Christmas :thumbup:

The wife let me buy myself a BIG ASH. I love it! Also got a Tom Baker Dr Who scarf from my mom. I've wanted that for like 10 years.
 
Nothing. Hopefully, those who normally give me gifts did what I asked and donated to their favorite charitable causes instead.
That's what I did.
Christmas is overblown to me, generally speaking...not a poke at religion, but a poke at the rest of it. It's no longer a day...or 12 days, but a whole dang season...by the time it's a week away you can cut the tension with a knife, everyone is so worked up around here. Had a little old lady pull a pistol on me over the last can of cranberry sauce...I didn't even want it, but refused to back down. Bullet comes out of my knee later this month. ;) (old joke :D)
Bah humbug...sort of, LOL.

I did get myself a new pet Badger for my birthday before Christmas... Sucker's a little biter though, so it's probably gonna get beaten on a regular basis, the little frakker...

Mine's serving a 10 day sentence in a CA Gun Jail until Monday. It didn't do anything wrong except enter the state...it's even old enough to be considered a "Relic".:mad:

Looking forward to its parole so we can go out and make some noise together!

Looks like everyone had a good one!

I bought myself a handful of ganza knives, and 2 new hats.

Was also going to get a new firearm of some sort, thinking a pocket pistol.

My parents gave me a 50" TV. My wife took my other good one when she left, along with the 700-lb. (at least) entertainment center that was hand-made in Turkey. How'd she manage that? Must have some strong friends is all I know.
 
"Killing Patton" and The Walking Dead DVD's. Of course, that's not counting the other brands of knives I bought myself while waiting for Jerry to release the B-8!!!:rolleyes:
 
Got a Rocking Chair for Christmas (gf must think I am getting old)



Used the box it came in and wrapped it up for the gf's grand kids (a big hit).

Nice thread Pokey!

Had a great Christmas I love getting my family presents. I got lots of work clothing from Duluth Trading and a set of Naniwa Professional waterstones along with some outdoorsy things.
BIG ASH and AMS was a early Christmas present to myself. But the best gift of all was time spent with family and friends.

Hardest parts going back to work after so many days off.
