Well, I was blessed with some great knives from some great people, my family and friends really went all out to be sure that I would love these knives, and they did great.
Being a GEC fan I have been wanting a hat since they came out with 'em and now I have one.

Then the knives started coming in.
A templar from my brother, this knife is just pure class.

Then a great knife that will get a ton of use, a #12 powderhorn that is just as solid as could be. A gift from a different brother. :D

Then my Mom blew me away with this awesome Ben Hogan, it is as beautiful as they come and a solid beast for sure. I have had it on me since Christmas and I enjoy the blade length, much bigger than the little #56 I'm used to.

My best friend really surprised me, he doesn't know much about knives, but he found this one in a sporting goods store. He knew I liked a knife from Tidioute so he got this one for me.

I really did well for Christmas as you can tell, these knives are all really solid and have 0 play or movement in them, the best is probably the #12 for overall F&F, but it's just a worker. I'll be using these knives and getting to know each pattern, I think that there are some great knives in this bunch, but I need to test 'em.

I just wanted to show off a little. :D

What did you guys get?

Thats a great bunch Johnny. I really like the photo of the zippo, shotgun shell and Templar.

Nice knives! What's a guy gotta to do to get adopted into your family?

Even your Mom gives you a knife. How cool is that?

She got me started in this whole crazy addiction, so she has no problem with feeding it when a celebration rolls around and I have no problem with that. :D

RichStag, I'm glad that you like this pic, it's always fun trying to get a good quality picture to share with you guys.
You know what I'm talking about though, you take some wonderful pics too.

So what did you guys get?????

Great haul indeed! Never thought much of Templar but your's looks awesome .. love the scheme and color too!

Just some beautiful knives Johnny!! Your whole family has some really good taste. I can't pick a favorite. I knew you would have already composed some great photos. Your friend chose well too! And ...I really like that hat.
Its funny cause...my honey went to a bunch of small town stores and picked me up a few beauties. Just made me smile from ear to ear cause she knows nothing about knives and I just did not expect it.

Whoa!!..now thats a good haul there my friend!
My lady and girls dont know too much about knives, but I did score a Ceramic Rod!
I think looking at everyones Christmas presents with their very neat knives justify's myself looking for another :D
Well done-Oh..and brilliant photos too ( as per :) )

Very nice Johnny! You have your friends and family well trained! :D

I didn't get a knife for Christmas, but I did give each of my sons Schrades made in the early 80s, around the years they were born.

I think I may need to buy myself a new knife, to make up for my generosity. ;)

I gave a 57 whittler to my girl, and I also had my new GEC Bull Nose Work Knife surprise the heck out of me on Christmas Eve. :)

She is trying to make a carving out of some soft walnut wood with it. Trying to make it look like our six year old pup.

Here is a quick PS pic we shot of them on Christmas Morning.

I was pretty groggy still trying to hold the camera but it turned out okay :)

Yeah thats beautiful, great Bull nose knife.
That #57 is pretty snazzy as well, great for a lady.

Congrats on a great time, it looks like nice knives all around.

Gary, sorry to hear you didn't get a knife, I guess they trust you to pick your own out.

All nice johnny! I've got to try one of those hats but since I can't make my mind up on color I may get both, and made in the USA. It's easier to find USA made knives then hats! I got a brand new #85 stag....

That #85 is beautiful Peter, congrats on it.
Really a classic looking knife for sure, enjoy it my friend.

I got a coffee grinder and some dog treats. No knives but I got the day off and spent the entire day with my favorite girls. :)

Nice haul Johnny!

OOOH, do those Bull Nose have stainless liners? They don't look like brass?

I should have jumped on this one. I hesitated for a big too long and they were gone!

It looks like it to me. They are magnetic and have no patina forming. I think they are stainless.

Nice gifts, and great pics! I picked up a #73 in grizzly bone(single blade) and have the kryptonite templar en route
