I've been wanting to set up a small giveaway for a while now. Being the procrastinator I am, I put it off until we got to the 11th hour! This giveaway is for an older Boker scout/camp knife. She is a user, and I will post pics when I get home from work and the insanity that is last minute holiday shopping. The only stipulations are that you have a few posts under your belt in Traditional, and that you post a pic of either your own Christmas tree or a majestic winter vista or Christmas lights in your neighborhood. To keep this knife related, include a pic or description of the knife you'll be using the morning of the 25th. Forum appropriate knives please. A little bit from me. This knife will be shipped with insurance and tracking, but if it doesn't make it's way to you, I will work with the USPS to get it to you, but I am not responsible for any waylaid knives. International members are welcomed, but once the knife leaves the USPS system, I can't be held liable if it doesn't make it to you. That's the way it is, and all that.

The winner will be chosen by random number generator on the 26th, this Thursday, giving me some time to shake off any headaches/stomachaches from celebrations. Let's give the deadline noon on the 26th. That should give me more than enough time :D.

Great giveaway dan! I had one of those scout knives when I was younger! No idea what happened to it tho!! So here's the tree and the gec eo bullet end jack I will be using on Christmas! I actually don't physically have it yet, but will be under the tree waiting for me!!

 
Good eye, Jeff! I'm also not sure if there's a ninth one in that shot, or not. ;) I couldn't capture them all in one camera shot - they were milling around pretty good at times, but I counted 14 or 15 at one time that day. Hungry after the big snow and looking for food.

I'm making some spice and herb infused vodka for a Christmas Eve party at a friend's house tomorrow. I took a break to set up a picture for you. We have no snowy vistas in central Texas, but there's one on a Christmas card. And I don't have a Christmas tree, but there's a menorah in the picture. And a few knives and some chocolate:D Enjoy.

Another home of sorts for me. In town facing an alley. It's rear wall is shared by a hipster coffee shop. Season's decorations are just a couple of homemade wreaths on the doors.
