I received my brand new BR in the mail yesterday and another knife (different brand: ER Shrapnel)....Two at once...how cool is that?
The BR is impressive...super sharp, heavy and appears very durable...I'm taking it up to our lake cabin in North Idaho today and clearing brush and aspen trees...it's been a wet cool spring here and it's a freaking jungle up there....
I really like the resiprene handle for a big chopper like this. I'm planning on ordering the CT in the new tactical line when it comes out, but I think this Resiprene will be great for a day of heavy chopping.
It didn't take long to get a true, funny BR story tho...my 13 year old was sitting at the dining room table holding and examining the knife (probably swinging it through the air) when a sheriff's deputy (who was looking for a kid who went berserk at his grandma's house up the street and knows my boys) walks up to the back slider....he sees my son with this huge blade and his eyes get big as saucers and asks if my son is the berserk kid....I can just imagine that deputy thinking "omg this isn't gonna be fun"

I bought an Ontario RTAK awhile back and used it to chop some aspens saplings down and clean up some dead rose canes....it worked fine but the blade got nicked/chipped first time out.
I took the BR out Saturday and wacked a LOT of aspens and some other deciduous trees down....blade edge is phenomenal, sharp as when I took it out of the box...now if I can just keep it away from my 11 and 13 year old boys... :)
