That Fighting Tarwar SINGS!~ That was # 8 in the stack yesterday, drew a lot of attention.
Sadly my funds are radically depleted currently or I'd give that beauty a home.
We're talking some incredibly good stuff on this DOTD.

Dashain is coming soon, the kami's time to let their hair down and party. Most of the money from sales of these beauties will be heading home to finance that party.

I always like to help with that celebration fund. Might just sent some loot if I don't have enough to bring home a blade.

Color me jealous. That Tarwar is awesome.

The Katunje is a gem, I have one, one of my favorites. Great little knife.
 
This batch has a bunch of old school styled Khukris. Very nice!! Wish I had spare money cause I'd want a few.
 
Love seeing all the Bhakta AKB's and AK's back! Grats Howard! Finally landed one. You will grow to like that blade more than you know! Thats my guess:D

The sword was singing so loud, my ears were hurting, had to have it. I do not have a Katunje yet, and I told myself I'd get the next one if it ever came along.

Considering the modern definition of a sword (to include a short sword) is 28" and longer, I'd call it a short sword.

You will love it! This is in a class of its own in my opinion! I own 2 by Kumar that are 18” and 26 oz!

Yangdu mentioned that many of the knives in this treasure trove of knives were to fill back orders.
So it's possible that she already had one set aside for you.
Either way we'll keep the fingers crossed that you get one regardless.
Kind of got the hankering for one myself, don't pay as much attention to the weights as I should.
A light M-43 would be a joy.

It truly is Mr Joe! They have the lengthy, and light weight that reminds me of a warriors knife. Yet capable of doing the kind of work that “Mike”....the guy that built the shelters, was able to do also!
