This red wine, it makes me mellow & ready to rhyme.
So here’s my rhyme… hope I haven’t committed a crime…

Christmas Eve is at last upon us.
It’s now too late to make a fuss.
I heard that Santa’s on the way,
With those flying reindeer and sleigh.
Here’s to you Santa… have a safe trip!
When you get to my place we’ll share a nip.
So hurry up Santa and don’t spare the whip.
Drive ‘em like the wind & my house, don’t skip!
 
Merry Christmas! Can you hear
The tapping hooves of tiny deer,
The scraping rails of Santa's sleigh --
Can you wait ... just one more day?

I wish the best for all of you,
And a happy and prosperous new year, too!

Although, Christmas already came and went here in New Zealand.

Thanks Emanuel & Esav! Emanuel, we keep trying to catch up to you guys on the other side of the world, but you're always a day ahead of us. It must be some kind of rotten trick. Santa's got it all figured out, though.

Christmas day, it's finally here
May we all remember how we're blessed
And think of the child born long ago
Who makes life worth living
And gives our hearts rest

Christmas has come and gone for us too. We celebrate on the 24th here.
 
I send my very best wishes to everyone on this fine forum, and I pray for peace in the new year.

Although I am not a Christian, I celebrate this day and believe in Jesus's message of love and compassion to all.
