Here's a few that I just wrapped up (literally). These are all CPM D2 with a 600 grit finish, the first one is ivory paper micarta, the others are cocobolo.

I made this kitchen utility for my neighbors across the street. They are a great retired couple. They always share from their garden and let the girls pick lilacs... stop over for a beer occasionally... basically, the perfect neighbors.

These next four are a set I made for my mom.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Very nice knives, I'd be proud to use them in my kitchen.

Sounds like you've got great neighbors too!:D

Can't believe it hasn't been said yet...

Can I be your neighbor? :D:D

I appreciate the comments guys! My mom was pretty happy... she knew she was getting these for a while, but I don't think she thought I'd get them done in time. My neighbors are still out of town for the holidays, but I think they'll be back before new years.

I am curious how much it costs to make a knife like those above? Not counting all the equipment (shop). Just steel & grips and labor time seperately.

Hope you dont mind answering this question, but curiosity has the best of me...

Also, just wanted to say those knives are absolutely gorgeous! I assume they cut as good as they look.
