So, it is that time of year once again, the time of year where we all decide which knife we will be using to extricate gifts from their wrappings on Christmas morning. Post which knife you are planning on using to open your's, and your loved one's gifts this Christmas, pics are always encouraged.
Here is what I will be using:

Now, I know some people do not like these threads, but this is all in good fun, and who among us doesn't like some good pics of good knives? So, let's all just have fun with this and have a Merry Christmas.

i use my hands.

You seem to be in the wrong place, this is "B-L-A-D-E forums", not "hands" forums :D. Seriously, give it a try, it is essentially like when our ancestors discovered fire.

Now, let's have some serious responses (and by "serious", I mean serious for the knife fans that we are).

Honestly I love just ripping through the wrap of my presents! Haha
But when I come across a box I'm planning on using my spyderco Poliwog :)

I prefer to be very meticulous about my present opening, I usually cut the tape and unfold the paper gently. I will probably use a different knife to open each present :D

My family is super uptight and whenever I get something I have to open it so delicately so they can save the paper I don't know if that is uprightness or stinginess

When I open presents its like a Cold Steel demo...I grab the biggest mall ninja sword I have and prepare for battle. The stocking I slice open with one swoop...gutting it like a pinata. Any gifts under the tree meet a similar fate. Best part is once everything is opened I end up with twice as many presents that I started with.

Thx for the idea of using a knife. So far hands were enough.
Guess a BK-9 will get some reactions from my family :p

Possibly my Case Peanut in amber jigged bone. But definitely something traditional.

Haha! Nice reply! :D

My wife is a big ribbon user. Somehow she can quickly and easily untie them. Me? Knife. This year? A Benchmade 943!

probably my sebenza to open my new xm-18. i told myself i wouldnt open it untill then. the suspense is killing me

I used to open presents all carefully and save the paper- them I had kids and they reminded me how fun it is to make a mess, now I rip all the paper off as fast as I can cause its more fun that way.

For opening boxes/packages I'll probabily use my dragonfly ZDP (my "pajama pants knife) on Xmas morning with the kids, when I go to my mother-in-law's Xmas I'll probabily carry either my Sage or possibly my new red zancudo if it doesn't have the issues my first zancudo had.

Kershaw Cryo since it's small and won't scare my little cousins like my 0200 would.

That's how it's done!

ZT 566 will be opening all those plastic boxes, with their hidden wire ties and plastic ties, housing kids toys that seem to be impervious to any other opening device.

My Spyderco Cricket is excellent for this. Not to intimidating, but still a really aggressive cutter.
