The brown truck just dropped off a box with a Lowell, Arkansas return address. That's not unusual, but this one is addessed to wife, two days before Christmas. Fingers crossed...

Sounds like the package might be a nice gift and the wife is definitely a keeper -- or maybe she just decided to go tactical on her own! :D

Lowell,Arkansas.Lowell,Arkansas.Oh,that guy!
:D

I'll let you guys know. Anyone else might be getting a knife for Christmas?

I'm buying wife's sister's husband a Bark River Highland. And I had three identical custom Anzas made to give one to each of my brothers and keep one for myself. I should post a picture of the set...

Best Wishes,
Bob

Last Christmas I received as a gift from my wife,a handmade art knife, maker Ted Miller,a Native American Indian Artisan. It has a stag handle that is carved,on the end of the stag, where the pommel would be,a carved Wolf's Face. The Handle has stone inlays,it's beautiful, and I was very surprised.I'm hoping this year she tries to keep up a rather new tradition, and outdoes herself.Of course,I'm happy either way, because she's a gift herself!

The Highland is a great gift itself. I think very highly of mine. :) I'd like to see a picture of the Anza.

I always agree with Esav!

Hurray for Wife!

The knife is the 10" Boker Arbolito Gaucho knife with the stag handle. If freakin' beautiful! The size is great, the handles are raw, uncoated, stag. The blade is well-made and sharp. Overall, it's a hefty piece.

I'll post the Anza pictures later on. Gotta walk the dogs first, then scan in the pictures.

Best Wishes and Happy Holidays!!

The rest of you guys did not do too shabby either.

Crap, the only thing I got from my boss was a promise that we'd be incredibly busy next year too. Very nice knife.
