Looking for a a new outdoors knife for Christmas. My lady asked me what I want, I didn't know, so she suggested a new knife. I'd like a new necked between $70 to $150. I have a bhk long trail, an esee, and a bk-14 already. Any new designs anyone has seen? Thanks for your time. Merry Christmas!

this one by Brian Andrews is about in your price range. O1 steel, and just a wonderful knife.

I keep looking at the Scrapyard 311, it would be at the limit for what I'd use as a Necker but having res-C handles means the Scrapyard blades are not nearly as heavy as you'd expect. The sturdy blade and full size handle would also mean that it could be used comfortably as a main blade !

The SYKO 311 is a sexy small blade.
I like ogling the Bark River Necker variations, particularly with the optional scales.

I'm still infatuated with my $12 Mora from Ragweed Forge.

But I am thinking about getting a Imacasa 28" Pata de Cuche for Christmas.
I really like the 14" bolo that I got, and I've had fun modding it. Don't know why I "need" another machete, but then again I don't know why I need most of what I have. (Please don't tell my wife.)

Between $70 and $150 you should get a custom if you want a necker. Lots of them out there for that price, and can be exactly how you want it.
