Christmas lists?

So yesterday was Halloween, and suddenly we are halfway through November! What just happened? I’ve had two people already ask me for a “Christmas list”. I don’t have one of those, and I always have the hardest time coming up with one. My problem is that everything I want is too specific (and usually expensive)!
What about you guys/gals? What’s on all of your lists this year? Feel free to be wildly unrealistic, it’s more fun that way. My list is currently an empty sheet that I’ve been glancing at for a few days. I’m already getting a custom necker for myself.

* Disclaimer * Not assuming everyone celebrates Christmas!!

Having an 18-month old, I'm deflecting as much attention from family towards her as possible for toys and whatnot. I'm hoping to acquire enough gift cards to supplement the cost of a KME, though.

Zactly !

Ha, ha, ha, funny you should bring this up.
I just saw the UPS truck go by and was thinking : It's been a while since I ordered much of anything. That's one way to tell you are an old fart . . . you got everything you need.

I'm laughing at my self knife wise though because I pounced on the Benchmade 940-1 (carbon fiber handle S90V steel) this summer because I was afraid something would happen and I wouldn't be able to get one if I waited for Christmas. Or I was just impatient and I wanted it . . . NOW !

Anyway that is ALL I wanted for Christmas so I am all set. Done.
But
I saw a rare opportunity to buy my all time "Dang I Missed It and now they are sold out" knives . . . the knife that was the most disappointing not to be able to carry and use.
Big time !
This was THEEEEEE ONE for me.
What for gosh sakes ? you are saying.
The Spyderco Para2 in M4

How did I rationalize buying THAT with the recent purchase of the nice 940-1 mentioned above ?
Well . . . and I really did think this when I was spending yet MORE MONEY right after getting the 940 . . . I thought : if I can ACTUALLY GET this Para2 M4 I won't want anything at all for Christmas in 2018.
"Yah right " you might say but I am so satisfied with this Para I can't tell you and I am really serious . . . feels like there isn't anything else I care about beyond that merchandise wise.
I'm SET ! ! !
Nothing on the list for the next couple of Christmases to come and I will be grinning and happy the whole while.

Absolutely
'52 Chevy 3800
Owner drove it in the barn and parked it in '97, drug it out last fall to make room for his grandkids 4 wheeler.

That is a great 940! Good luck on the truck, that would be a lot of fun for years to come. I really don't like asking for gift cards, but really unless people are extremely generous there is nothing else I could ask for. What's on John's list?

My list is continued good health for my family, pets, (hopefully no more Stella issues), and friends. I haven't got any presents for the last couple of years, and don't expect any this year. We just buy for the grandkids.

On my wish list, something like the stretched Blue bill, Toby's, or worker B/T, or Kephart, something that will fit into my stocking. Maybe even a JK friction folder.

What I really would like is just to slow down a little and enjoy family, good times together, and a simpler holiday season. We tend to get so busy "doing and getting ready" for the holiday, that we miss what is truly the most important, being thankful and praising the Lord that He came on Christmas Day. I even thought how wonderful it would be to just go caroling with friends from church, and enjoy sipping some eggnog by a fire. Even a little Christmas shopping would be fun, my wife and I spent some good time just shopping the fun little shops in Lititz, PA, where a lot of my family is from. To top it off, a little snow storm would be nice to make it a white Christmas. Just a few special thoughts.

I can relate. I'm the same way. My kids would buy me Buck knives because I didn't know what to ask for and would tell them, Just get me a US made Buck". They're inexpensive, readily available and good stuff.

This year I'm seriously considering asking for a gym membership and/or a one year subscription to Spotify.

There are a few things I'd like to have but not much I really need that would fit under the tree (I need five yards of topsoil), and not much I can recommend unless you need a new garden hose too.

Wildly unrealistic and probably too expensive list below:

- Griswold 00 Blackhawks jersey
- Detroit Red Wings Sawchuk jersey
- Ball Trainmaster Racer watch (wildly unrealistic really begins to set in here:p)
- Stockingfoot fishing waders and enough time to use them.

I doubt it did but, I hope that helped.:p

You guys have the right ideas when it comes to enjoying company, family, and health! It always goes too quickly for me to enjoy it. I thought of one thing I can put on a list, 12” guide rods for the wicked edge.

Jason Isbell and his wife are doing a show in my hometown on Dec 23rd, so my wife and I decided those tickets would be our Christmas gift to each other. Then our coffee pot went out, so we got a new one as an early Christmas gift to ourselves as that is an extremely important part of our day to day with a 1 year old. Kind of a relief knowing that is taken care of (and having coffee again!)

Ok, if we're really getting crazy I'd love one of these.
50s or 60s, 4x4 panel.Chev or GMC don't matter.
(thanks for reminding me 3fifty7)
