Okay, what did you knuts get for the holidays?

I got a new rifle case, a new pistol case, Star Wars Revenge of the Sith on PS2, Sin City recut extended edition dvd, a new pair of binoculars, some maps (I love maps, can't put em down).

Oh yeah, I got a new cell phone, and will now go from paying 30 bucks a month with Cingular, to paying ten bucks a month with Verizon.
 
New yo-yo, I had been wanting one of these for a long time, my daughter found someone who could bring it from the USA, cool...

Well, I received a Combat Elite RRF, a 12 inch iBook, a shirt, 2 cool LED flashlights, a Robopet (way fun to play with!!), a charger & headset for my cell. phone, a neoprene slip case for my iBook.
 
Even though my wife and I said we weren't going to exchange gifts, I got her two pairs of flannel jammies (hey, it's what she really wanted) and she got me the "Advanced Turkey Hunting" book... 'cause evidently the regular ol' turkey hunting book just didn't work for me. ;) We also have a pick the name out of a hat gift exchange on my inlaw's side. I was picked by my sister in law who believes more in having something to unwrap rather than if it's the correct size and/or what you asked for. :jerkit: She got 4 out of 6 items wrong.:grumpy: Now I gotta figure out how to exchange all this crap.
 
Wifey picked up a Fenix L1P for me as well as some glowrings and a new zippo. Got a nice GC for Lowes as well.
 
I got an ipod nano, but ironically, it doesn't work with any of my computers...:jerkit: :jerkit:
 
I got a 6" Wusthof Santuko cooking knife, an Antec laptop cooler, a new Swiss Army Gear Sahara laptop bag, Philadelphia Flyers tix against Buffalo on 3/11/06, a $50 gift card to Ramsey Outdoor, LOTR Extended Edition Boxed Set, a few shirts, some fishing lures, and some cooking utensils. :D :thumbup:
 
A nice new phono cartridge (Denon DL103R low output moving coil)
A Harbor Freight bench sander
Dress socks
Electronic battleship


That's a good haul in my book.
 
Got a bark river foxriver in orange g10, an Osprey flux daypack and something from TAD gear that hasn't shown up yet, its either a light or a Braille compass, I think.

Pardon my curiousity and please don't be offended, but if you need one, then why would you need the other?
 
Knife and gadget related, I got a KA-BAR short, a Vic One-Handed Trekker, a cell phone, and a 256mb flash drive. I'm happy:D The KA-BAR hasn't come off my belt since I got it lol (I haven't had to go anywhere.)
 
I got a Seiko Orange Monster (really nice, but heavy), 24 surefire batteries, a 300 piece poker set with clay chips, a 18" stainless steel ruler, a little butane torch, and some other small stuff.
 
I got a clay pigeon shooting lesson, a couple of CDs and a mossy oak coat. I bought myself a tomom satnav a month ago so that kind of counted as my christmas treat.

The clay pigeon lesson is pretty cool its about as close as you're allowed to a firearm in this dump. I dont think a double barreled shotgun will really compare to the semi-autos I was playing with in the US earlier in the year though :)

No knives or flashlights, but I'm not complaining, better than a P.O.S!

It occured to me after I wrote that that it might seem odd. I have enough sight that a good light is sometimes useful to me but not enough sight to enable me to read a standard compass. I haven't found a braille or talking compass that was actually worth a damn but this one looks promising. Of course map/compass work is out of the question for me at this point but knowing what direction I am going in is still useful. I also find that things like flashlights tend to help others as much as they do me and no one seems to carry anything useful anymore so I try to.

Ha, I got a Black Monster. Was thinking of the orange, but got a deal on the black one for about $20 less and have regretted it since.
