and a couple special thank-yous, one to Cat for finishing up my collection of sh*tty 11/14 sheaths LOL (now I have all 3 variations) and a huge heartfelt THANKS to FAL'er. Bro, I was stunned when I read the return addy on your box....and excited. I know how many hours and how much effort you have invested in these. They are beautiful....I will cherish these always brother. And honor the memory of the man who sacrificed his all for our country every time I use the knife I have them on (I'm thinkin the 5 would be perfect).

and I finally got on the KaBar train, traded for a 1217(?) the USMC version. And a few other trades for non-kabar/BK&T related blades I been needing.

The only place locally that carries any Beckers at all is this Warehouse place and they only have the 17, 5 and 7. Not sure what way to go. I'm leaning toward the 17.

I was excited, but I'm more excited about putting the 7 and 5 thru their paces, and to see how I like the FFG 16 after long-term use.

Nice haul! My BK9 showed up today and it's sitting on the front deck with the stripper.

That BK5 is a stunning blade. I need to stop dancing around it and just pick on up.

Even after just a few minutes of handling it, I think it would be the one I would grab if I ever needed to use a knife as a fighting weapon. Stabbity Stab Stab!

I need a 12, 17 and *shudder* 3 to have all the current models. I'm poor, I will wait til 2013 for the 1 and 6 unless a great deal falls in my lap. I think I may start actively lookin for a 10 here soon now that I have most of the KaBar Beckers.

ah the bk5. how i miss her. can you remember a time when you didnt have one? even after only a few hours? Its perfect. even the oversized choil grows on you. she is a beautiful specimen. congrats on your haul my man. you deserve it.
