Christmas movies

whats the best Christmas movie out there? i think its a close call between White Christmas and A Christmas Carol. the classics are the best. and i guess for good measure i should mention A Christmas Story.
 
Some of my favorites (other than A Christmas Story) are Christmas Vacation, ELF, Jingle All The Way, and Bad Santa.
 
I have seen the old classics so many times that I really favor the newer Christmas classic..."A Christmas Story"...:D:thumbup::thumbup: Hard to believe that they made that movie back in 1983!:eek:
 
Santa Claus Conquers The Martians is a pretty rad one too.

It's A Wonderful Life.......maybe not a "Christmas movie" but often shown around the holidays. I love that movie.
 
I have to agree with Beef, the classics are great. I grew up watching old musicals so White Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Holiday Inn, and such are always close to my heart. You can't go wrong with great Christmas movies like ELF, A Christmas Story, It's Christmas Charlie Brown, and the good old cartoons like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The Year without a Santa Claus, Rudolph, and Frosty. :)
 
White Christmas and A Chirstmas Story are two movies I never go a year without watching. Although I always put Home Alone in there as well.
 
A Christmas story. -Makes my dad laugh his leg off.

Ernest saves Christmas. -A true classic!

I am content if I get to see at least three of those every Christmas.
 
Animated - "Grinch"
Classics - "It's a wonderful life" and "A Christmas Story"
Funny - "Jingle all the way" and "Elf"

Die Hard 2 wasn't bad....as a Christmas movie.

Oh, pretty much any South Park Christmas episode needs to be on the list.......Red Slay Down :D
 
The classics definitely rule, but I'd rather be in the woods hunting!

My son was absolutely addicted to "The Polar Express". From age 2-5 we watched that movie at least three times a week. Many times it was more than that, much more. It's a good movie, maybe I should get it for him on Blu-Ray this year? My wife loves the movie "Elf"... She shares his affinity for sugar and agrees with his version of the three main food groups.
