hi everyone,
my dad is big into martial arts/knives/guns/etc. namely in brazilian styles like Pekiti-Tirsia and a few others. i was looking to get him a nice knife for christmas along with a gift card to gander mountain without breaking my budget. my budget for the knife is $40-50 max but ideally under that. i was hoping to find a decent karambit or another blade type typically associated with styles like pekiti-tirsia. any suggestions would be appreciated.

should i be concerned that it's made of a glass? is it still able to be sharpened?
