Christmas Present to Myself

I am buying the first non-Spyderco knife in years. I have a BenchMade Pardue Axis 720 satin finished plain edged blade on order from Mike Payne and I am beside myself in anticipation. I have not been terribly excited by the BenchMade knives that I have seen, but I saw the 710 and 705 Axis knives and liked the system, if not the design. Then I saw a friend's Pardue 720 and it was love at first sight! I can't wait!

You lucky dog! I've been waiting for my 720 for a while now (some sort of shipping problem getting it up to me, not the dealer's fault). I got the 710 and was really impressed, the 720 only seemed natural. You can't wait? Man I'm dying!
