See there guys!

Read the sign....limited numbers...buy now.

The lady has spoken.

Might have to wait until my birthday this spring for the CR.

It happens.

You go Kamidog! I had a sneaky extraterrestial sense that there was more than one of them Hasiya's.

Well done. The way you chop and eat bushes and berries and such, you need one of them.

Look at kamidog, sniping that hasiya like a pro lol that bonecutter is real nice, Gratz spaceghost! I was too busy sleeping and not lurking the forum :)

No sniping there DTKM! I just happen to log on within one minute of posting. I was actually headed out to lunch and Bookies and Bawannas spidy senses kicked me in the arse all the way down here in TX so I knew something was up. I didnt even have an email typed up prior. Hope Aunti can read my EMS? See there no auto emsing, no sniping, no chum bucket diving, just a Hasiya that was meant for Kamidog:p (er..Kamidogs wife?)

Nice Malla! I remember the last grey horn AK like that. It was outrageous beautiful K&C and all and you couldnt tell by the pic.

I wish I would have been quicker on the draw for that BC;)

Excellent specimen there.

Does anyone here have experience with the malla vs an m43. Are they about the same? I really like that thing. WIll a malla take similar abuse? Could i take apart a downed log with it?

The Mallas usually run a little lighter than the M-43 and will have more handle length to them.

That said, that's a stout example up there. It wouldn't be my first choice as a wood chopper, but then again the M-43 wouldn't be either simply because I like a little more of a straighter khuk to process wood...that said, I have cut hundreds and hundreds of logs with my M-43:D

In short, I dunno:p The Malla isn't designed to be a wood chopping or warrantied as such, but I think with a little common sense, some developed skill, and understanding that if you bust it you're not getting a new one for free, I think it would do just fine.

I think an 18" Chiruwa AK would be a bit better, honestly.

EDIT:

OOPS! Sorry Pinkeye. I see that the Malla and BC are mislabeled in the pic. The first blade is a Malla. The BC is the stout one with a bulldog profile. THAT one would be plenty handy for chopping wood. 2lbs at 16"? Yessir, that there is a wood buster;)

yaaay! grats on hasiya ndog-- love that bonecutter!

love my malla, I think it is a great piece, but I have never used it

Mislabelling fixed.

Thx man! I got a feelin my wife is going to snag it from me on sight:eek: I should give it her for Christmas so she can cut me some more bush and berries. Otherwise ill be deep in the doghouse again without food after that Dhankute. I got it yesterday btw. What a nice bowie it is! How bout that skullbuster pommel?
Your right Steely. BULLDOG!!! Grats Spaceghost!

I remember that Vim AK.

Thinking it may need a brother. Got two chances to get one with a black and grey handle if I bite.

You can certainly take a downed log with the Malla. I cut down an 8"-10" pine tree then cut it up into 4' sections and cut off every branch. Still sharp. This one looks better than mine, I wish I was not toothless or I would try to get it myself.
